This policy explains what personal information Kampus collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple and we do not sell your data.

1. What we collect

Information you give us:

  • Account details: name, email, phone number, password (stored in a protected, hashed form), role, university, faculty and academic year.
  • How you heard about Kampus, which helps us understand what is working.
  • Messages, reviews, support tickets and help requests you send through the platform.

Information created when you use Kampus:

  • Your courses, enrollments, sessions, wallet balance, transactions and deposit requests.
  • Notifications and your online status inside the platform.
  • Basic technical data needed to keep you signed in and protect the service.

2. How we use it

  • To create and run your account and provide courses, sessions and payments.
  • To contact you about your account, sessions and support requests, by email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • To send notifications (you can turn email notifications off in your settings).
  • To keep the platform safe and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • To understand how Kampus is used and improve it.

3. Cookies and local storage

We use a cookie and your browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your language. If you install Kampus on your phone, the app may also save some static files on your device so it loads faster. We do not use this to show ads.

4. How we protect your data

We use reasonable technical measures, including storing passwords in hashed form and limiting admin access. No online service is completely secure, so please use a strong password and do not share it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for payments, security and legal reasons. After that we delete it or remove what identifies you.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • show you the information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is wrong;
  • delete your account and personal data, except what we must keep by law.

7. Children

Kampus is made for university students and is not intended for children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page when we do.
